Upcoming webinar - HCNP board and Herefordshire council

Wednesday 14 February 2024 10.31am

Herefordshire Climate and Nature Partnership Board was set up just over two years ago as a key part of Herefordshire Council's mission to deliver a net zero and nature-rich county. What has it been up to?

Join us to gather an insight into the achievements, activities and plans of the Board, along with the wider environmental work of Herefordshire Council.

The current Chair, James Marsden, and colleagues will outline the work taking place across various sectors - land management, the built environment, transport and more - and how this fits into the national and wider context.

The speakers will be keen to hear your questions and suggestions, and will signpost participants to information on action that they as organisations or individuals can take to play their part.

Speakers:

  • James Marsden, Chair of the Herefordshire Climate and Nature Partnership Board
  • Cllr Elissa Swinglehurst, Cabinet member for the Environment, Herefordshire Council

The session will be hosted by Jackie Jones, Co-Chair of HGN (and member of the Climate and Nature Partnership Board)

This online event is open to everybody with an interest in the climate and nature work being carried out within Herefordshire:

Parish Councils - Organisations and businesses - Farmers and landowners - Environmental groups - Residents - Education sector

This event is co-hosted by Herefordshire Green Network and Herefordshire Council.
